Meeting of the Friends of FRNV (27 February 2010)

A meeting of the Friends of FRNV was organized on 27th February 2010 in New Delhi. About 40 Friends attended the meeting. Sri Bharat Wakhlu, General Secretary, FRNV, welcomed all the participants and briefed them about the activities of the foundation in last one year and future plans. Sri D. R. Kaarthikeyan (Member – FRNV Consultative Directorate), Sri Prem Arora, Coordinator, Police Reforms Task Force, and Sri Ashwani Kumar, Coordinator, National Value Education Task Force were present among others.

Meeting of the Consultative Directorate (22 January 2009)

A meeting of the Consultative Directorate was held in New Delhi to define the strategy and plan to address the following areas which have been identified by FRNV for immediate action: 1) Police Reforms,  2)  Electoral Reforms,  3)  National Value Restoration Council (NVRC),  4)  National Value Education Curriculum.
 

National Summit  (18, 19 November 2008)
FRNV’s first step was to stimulate a discussion on National Values with a two-day Summit. Prominent leaders and thinkers from various branches of National life shared their observations on the subject and specified the measures to be introduced forthwith. The object was to generate a ‘National thinking and Perception’ on ‘Value Decline and Redressal’, to be pursued by appropriate actions, initiated by members from Government, Education, Judiciary, as well as the Civic Society. This was held at the India Habitat Centre, New Delhi.
