1. The National Summit
The FRNV Summit aimed to generate a “National thinking and Perception” on the Value Decline and evolve ways for its Redressal. The two-day Summit stimulated a discussion on National Values between prominent leaders and thinkers from various branches of National life, who used the platform to share their observations on the subject, identify root causes and specify the measures to be introduced forthwith, to arrest the decline.
FRNV held its summit on 18th and 19th November at the India Habitat Centre started with reading of Messages from President and Prime Minister, which was followed by Inaugural Address by Honourable Speaker of our Parliament Sri Somnath Chatterjee and Keynote Address by Honourable Chief Justice of India Sri K G Balakrishnan.
Honourable Leader of the Opposition in Parliament Sri L K Advani also addressed the Summit. Eminent persons from the Parliament, Government, Corporate world, Civic Society and Spiritual thinkers participated in the deliberations. Redressal measures, evolved out of various speeches and discussions, have been outlined in this document.
